Make Your Own Elderberry Syrup

You've just received your packet of Elderberry Syrup herbs. So now what?
I'll tell you what. Now you make Elderberry Syrup. It's a breeze.

Directions:
Step 1: Bring four cups of distilled water* to a boil, add contents of herb packet.
Step 2: Lower heat and simmer until liquid is reduced by half. Stir every now and then
Step 3: Strain herbs from liquid using cheesecloth.* Be sure to squish all the good stuff from the plant material.
Step 4: Discard plant material, and pour liquid into quart mason jar. Allow to cool to 95 degrees.
Step 5: Stir in 2 cups raw* honey and store in fridge.
Dosing:
Take 1 TBSP daily for cold and flu prevention
At onset of viral symptoms, increase dosing to 1 TBSP 3X daily
Dosing for children 12 months and older:
Take 1 tsp. daily for cold and flu prevention
At onset of viral symptoms, increase dosing to 1 tsp 3X daily
